A one day orientation programme on “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” was organised today at The Plaza Hotel, Hyderabad by the Department of Women Development and Child Welfare, Telangana and the Ministry of Women and Child Welfare Department, Government of India, New Delhi on behalf of MOWCD, Mr. Ashok Kumar Yadav, Deputy Secretary and other senior consultants; who gave presentation on Beti Bachao Beti Padhao.
The Secretary M. Jagadeeshwar, IAS, WCD, Telangana has inaugurated the event. Viziendira Boyi, IAS has made a presentation on the implementation of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao in Telangana.
Further, 8 District (Hyderabad, Warangal, Nalgonda, Mahabubnagar, Ranga Reddy, Adilabad, Karimnagar and Nizamabad) Nodal officers also participated in the programme.
