The Students studying in Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Degree Colleges wouldn’t have ever dreamed of a trip a foreign country owing to their poor family backgrounds. Thanks to Bharath Darshan and Vishwa Vidyarthi programmes being launched by the TTWREIS in helping poor students explore the world never before. In collaboration with AIESEC, 15 students were selected under the Vishwa Vidyarthi foreign student exchange programme this year. The selected students will take up internship projects in countries like Poland, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Greece as part of the six-week long exchange programme. Dr Praveen Kumar, Secretary, said, it’s a golden lettered moment in the history of the TTWREIS that 15 students got a chance to visit different countries and their life’s journey from remote villages to international stage is truly remarkable.
The Dr RS Praveen Kumar, congratulated the students for their rare feat and attributed the success to hard work and commitment of teachers and students. Dr Kumar thanked the Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao for launching 55 residential degree colleges for marginalized students under the KG-PG Mission.
