The Chief Election Commissioner of India Sunil Arora, Arrived to Hyderabad on 12th Feb 2019 and reviewed with Officials on poll preparedness i.e 13-2-2019 with senior officers of Telangana State. The review meeting was attended by the Chief Secretary, DGP, Chief Electoral Officer, and other senior officials of the State Government. The Chief Election Commissioner discussed with the officials on the preparation of electoral rolls, law and order situation, availability of quality manpower for the conduct of elections and the issues relating to availability of EVMs and VVPATs. The officials informed the Chief Election Commissioner that all preparations are going on as per the directions of the ECI and expressed their ability to conduct the forthcoming General Elections to Lok Sabha successfully. The present visit of the Chief Election Commissioner will be followed by the visit of the full Commission in due course.
