The Secretary to Government, AHDD & F Sandeep Kumar Sultania has conducted Review meeting on the activities of Telangana State Livestock Development Agency (TSLDA), PVNRT Veterinary University, Rajendranagar and Veterinary & Animal Husbandry Department. During the meeting, The Secretary to Government, AHDD & F has reviewed TSLDA activities for enhancing the field level performance. The Government of India sanctioned two projects to Telangana State.
That An amount of Rs. 4750 Lakhs for establishment of “Sex Sorted Semen Laboratory” at Frozen Semen Bull Station Karimnagar to produce about 8 Lakh Frozen Semen Doses of sexed semen. An amount of Rs. 583 Lakhs for establishment of “In- Vitro Fertilization Laboratory” at College of Veterinary Science, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad to produce 1500 embryos over a period of 3 years.
The review meeting was attended by the Sri Rajeshwara Rao Chairman TSLDA, Dr. G. Manjuvani Chief Executive Officer, TSLDA, Dr. Ram Chandar, Additional Director, V&AH department, Dr. Viroji Rao Registrar of PVNRT Veterinary University, District Veterinary & Animal Husbandry Officers, concerned Executive Officers, staff from TSLDA and Gopalamitras.
