Hyderabad: The very auspicious day and we should all remember Allah’s message of give love and share love, love everyone, take care of everyone and spread happiness. God has taught us to remember these things in the holy month of Ramzan and it is ordained that all of us lead our lives on these lines” said the Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan delivering his message on the eve of Iftar dinner hosted by him at ‘Samskruthi’ Raj Bhavan Community Centre on Saturday.
The programme started with Tilavate – Khuraan, recitation of some stanza from Holy Quran followed by Faza-el-Ramzan, explanation of the rules to be observed during the Holy month of Ramzan. The Imam bestowed blessings on the Governor.
The Iftar dinner hosted by Governor Sri Narasimhan was attended by Telangana CM K. Chandrashekar Rao, Andhra Pradesh CM Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy, Speaker of Telangana Legislative Assembly Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, Acting Chief Justice of Telangana High Court Justice Raghavendra Singh Chouhan, Home Minister Mohammad Mahmood Ali, Minister for Prohibition & Excise Srinivas Goud, Minister for Labour and Employment Ch. Malla Reddy, various Members of Parliament and MLAs of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Telangana Chief Secretary S.K. Joshi, DGP Mahender Reddy, Hyderabad City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar and other officials and non officials, media persons have also attended the function.
