CM KCR Expressed Shock over Boat Tragedy in East Godavari District in Andhra

The Honourable Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has expressed shock over the boat tragedy that occurred near Papikondalu in East Godavari District in Andhra Pradesh State. The CM has conveyed his deep sympathies to the members of the bereaved families. Since there were people from Telangana among those dead, the Chief Minister has instructed officials concerned to take the necessary action. Honourable Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has announced an ex gratia amount of Rs. five Lakh each to the members of the bereaved families. The CM has asked Transport Minister Ajay to participate in the relief measures. The CM has asked Minister Erabelli Dayakar Rao and MLA Aruri Ramesh to rush to the spot, stand by the families of victims, participate in the cremations and other programmes.
