The Raj Bhavan is the center of attraction for the school children. As many as 1000 children drawn from different schools from various districts of Telangana gathered here as part of the Children’s Day celebrations where the Governor greeted the tiny tots.
Elaborate arrangements are made for the Children’s Festival at Rajbhavan Durbar Hall. On this occasion, the Governor congratulated the children who achieved the state and national level awards in various fields from Hyderabad, Rangareddy and Medchal-Malkajgiri districts.
Students from the Zilla Balakendra, Suryapet district enthralled and made audience spellbound with their fine dance performance.
On this occasion, the Governor said that all children should inculcate self-discipline and self-confidence to reach the goals set for themselves. Mother, father and the teachers are the living gods and all should respect them. She further said that, she learnt love and affection from her mother, dedication and discipline from her father and hard work and determination from her teachers. The children should love and enjoy the hard work that is required achieve their goals and wished all children a bright future.
