The Koppula Eshwar met Raj Kumar Singh, Hon’ble Union Minister for Renewable Energy for State (Independent Charge) and requested to arrange to provide CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) funds of Rs. 30.00 Crores from NTPC for providing basic Amenities in Zilla Parishad High Schools of Dharmapuri Assembly Constituency of Telangana State.
The Koppula Eshwar said that the industrial organization has been earmarking and spending substantial funds towards social cause forming part of Corporate Social Responsibility which include social, economic, educational and spiritual programmes for the benefit of public at large.
In this context, it is to mention that, the Humble President of India in his address at the National CSR Award ceremony conducted on 29th October 2019, requested to contribute more CSR funds on Welfare activities. In this contest it is informed that during the course of regular visits to Dharmapuri Constituency villages, Koppula Eshwar visited & inspected the Zilla Parishad High Schools. The school students and their parents have represented that the basic amenities are not available in the said schools. The students are facing very inconvenience. They have represented for providing basic amenities in the schools.
The Koppula Eshwar has requested Raj Kumar Singh, Hon’ble Union Minister for Renewable Energy for State (Independent Charge) to arrange to provide CSR funds of Rs. 30.00 Crores for providing basic Amenities in Zilla Parishad High Schools of Dharmapuri Assembly Constituency of Telangana State. The Raj Kumar Singh has responded positively in this regard and said that necessary steps will be taken accordingly for the above request.
