Hon’ble Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan visited the house of slain Dr Priyanka Reddy and consoled the bereaved family members.
The Governor has expressed shock and profound grief over the ghastly incident and described it as an unfortunate incident.
She ensured that the investigation on this case will be completed on a fast track and it will be referred to fast track court and the culprits be punished in the earliest possible time.
She said the lapses in the system, if any, will be identified and be rectified to instil confidence among girls and women. She said the rights of common public will be protected on a priority basis.
