Full Refund for Haj-2020 Pilgrims without Any Deduction to their Bank Accounts amid COVID-19 Pandemic

Hyderabad: The Mohd Masiullah Khan, Chairman Telangana State Haj Committee and Mr. B.Shafiullah,IFS, Executive Officer Telangana State Haj Committee informed in a press conference that the Saudi Government has taken a decision in view of serious challenges of Corona Pandemic and keeping in mind the health and well-being of the people. It has decided not to call Haj Pilgrims from outside Saudi Arabia to perform Haj (1441)- Haj-2020 A.D.
Consequent on the announcement of Saudi Arabia decision not to call Haj Pilgrims from outside Saudi Arabia. The Candidature of Haj Applicants for Haj-2020 stands cancelled automatically by default. The Amount already paid by the applicants for Haj-2020 will be refunded 100% without any deduction to their Bank Accounts directly by the Haj Committee of India, Mumbai within one month. The applicants need not fill the cancellation form hereafter.
Mr.Irfan Shareef Assistant Executive Officer, Telangana State Haj Committee informed that the Passports collected by the Telangana State Haj Committee will be return to the concerned applicants after receipt of the same from the Haj Committee of India, Mumbai, for which, the twin cities applicants will be informed through Press and SMS for its collection within one month. The Passports of district applicants will be returned through their Haj societies concerned or by Speed Post.
Mr.Irfan Shareef Assistant Executive Officer, Telangana State Haj Committee further said that those Applicants who expired. Their nominees can submit their bank details along with the letter mentioning their nomine already filled in Haj form and copy of Death Certificate etc. to Haj Committee of India, Mumbai in email hajcommittee@nic.in. Mr. Abu Talha Amjad, Member, TS Haj Committee was present in press conference.
