Balsore District: The Eight people were killed and more than 20 people were injured in the explosion while manufacturing the crackers in Bahabalpur in Odisha’s Balsore district.
The explosion happened inside a house in Bahabalpur village where people were making firecrackers. The fire spreads in a nearby warehouse, leading to death and destruction. According to the local media, about 30 people were working in the firecracker unit, when the explosion happened at around 4.30.
The Local media reports also said that among eight dead was a 5 year old child. The People said that the blasts continued for more than an hour. Six people were found dead near the accident spot and the two were declared dead in Balasore district headquarter hospital.
