Kabul: A suicide bomber exploded explosives in Shia mosque, killing 30 people in Afghan Capital, Kabul, as per the reports.
A security official said at least 45 people were injured in a bomb blast in Imam Zamam Mosque in western Kabul. The Interior Minister Major General Alimast Momand told AP that the attackers entered the building and were caught in the blasts of explosives.
The Mohammed Sabir Naseeb, head of the area’s Isteqlal Hospital, said that they found the dead bodies of two people and two injured people in the attack. The ISIS took the responsibility for the bombing.
The Photos on social media emerged, which is shown after the explosion. The bodies of the dead were covered in the carpets by the bystanders.
Soon after, another explosion was reported in a mosque in the Dolaina district of the northwestern Ghor province, due to which there were many casualties. It is currently unknown if both the bomb blasts are linked, but they followed the wave of violence in the country.
That, on Thursday, at least 58 Afghan security forces personnel were killed in a coordinated Taliban attack across the country. The Army compounds and police stations were targeted and a base in Kandahar province was almost over, according to officials.
