Hyderabad: The Government of Telangana under the dynamic leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister K.Chandra Sekhar Rao, have established 204 Minority Residential Schools and 2 Junior Colleges with an aim to provide High Quality Free Education to the poorest of poor from Minority Community Children along with Nutritious and Hygienic Food, High Quality Student Amenities and round the clock Health Services. These schools have gained lot of popularity in all 31 districts where a total of 48,000 students are studying.
The B. Shafiullah, IFS., Secretary Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society in a press statement today stated that a delegation of four students (two boys and two girls) of TMR Schools was sent to Tanzania (Africa) to participate in Mount Kilimanjaro Expedition held from 20th to 25th October 2017. The following students have participated.
1. Master D. Bhasker Student of Class IX, TMR School Sangareddy Boys 1
2. Master S. K. Feroz, Student of Class VIII, TMR School Warangal Boys 1
3. Miss Sidra-tul-Muntaha, Student of Class VIII, TMR School Bodhan Girls 1
4. Miss B. Rani, Student of Class VIII, TMR School Gajwel Girls 1
Although the students are hailing from very poor families but shown their commitment towards studies and sports. In order to train them to take part in prestigious international expedition and to scale Mt. Kilimanjaro, highest free Standing Mountain with its three volcanic cones, Kibo, Marwenzi and Shira with an altitude of 5895 Meters/ 19,341 feet above sea level,vigorous trainingwas arranged for them at Bhongiri Hills.
As a result of commitment shown by the students, training provided by coaches and support extended by TMREIS all the four students came up with flying colours, scaled the heights of Mt. Kilimanjaro successfully and hoisted the TMREIS flag at Africa’s highest peak.
Indeed it is a proud movement for TMREIS; the family of TMREIS express their gratitude and extend heartfelt congratulations to them for their marvellousachievement. It is another feather in the cap of TMREIS and many more to come.
The next target of young Mountaineers of TMREIS is to scale Mount Everest and hoist TMREIS Flag at the highest peak.
