Mumbai: The body of a 24-year-old anchor was found semi-nude on Monday, December 11 in the second floor of the high-rise Malad building. The deceased, Arpita Tiwari, was found half-naked and fell from the 15th floor of her boyfriend ‘s friend’s building, police said.
After the rebuilding of a series of events that lead to Tiwari’s death, the police said that it seems that she was pushed from the window rather than jumping herself. His family also told that until they have not reached the conclusion that what has really happened, they suspect a foul play.
The Shweta, Tiwari’s sister told that she had problems with her boyfriend Pankaj Jadhav for some days and she shared something with her family too. For the last few weeks all were not well between Arpita and Pankaj, and they were seriously considering calling off the relationship, but they were emotionally connected to it, with the fact that they would be together for a long time.
The police has pointed out Pankaj Jadhav and his close friend Amit Kumar, who were present with him in the night before her death, the main suspects in the investigation, the report also said that four other persons were also present in the flat at night, Two of them have been identified as Manish and Shravana, with the Cook Krishna, while the fourth person has not yet been identified.
The Malvani police told that with Tiwari and Pankaj had visited his friend’s house on Sunday night, and according to the watchman, both of them were looking very happy while entering.
