Washington: The India today joined in voting in favor of a resolution opposing of United Nations General Assembly to vote in the United Nations General Assembly in 127 other countries, in which opposing the recent decision of US President Donald Trump considers Jerusalem as the Israeli capital.
The Nine countries voted against this proposal, while 35 countries did not participate. As Israeli capital, the decision of India’s decision against American recognition of Jerusalem as the Israeli capital comes a day after Trump warned the countries against protest the US position.
India did not talk about the assembly floor in New York, but after Trump recognized the holy city of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, after which it was said that Palestine’s situation was free and consistent.
Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj had said in her intervention at the NAM Minister’s meeting on Palestine during the United Nations General Assembly, that the path of peace in Israel-Jerusalem is clearly in an initial dialogue based on mutual recognition and security between Israel and Palestine and the security arrangement.
In the decision of the United Nations General Assembly, Turkey and Yemen insisted that Jerusalem was the issue of final status to resolve through negotiations. It was demanded that all the states follow the Security Council resolutions in respect of the state, and unlike those proposals, no action or remedy was recognized.
In his address to the UN General Assembly, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said that the trump decision was an insulting attack on all the universal values.
“The Palestinians have the right to their own state, the boundaries of 1967 as their capital with the former Jerusalem,” he said.
In major countries, who have denied access to voting were Australia, Bhutan, Canada, Colombia, Hungary, Mexico, Panama, Philippines, Poland and Uganda.

Trump had warned against cutting funds, Trump told reporters “Give them a vote against us, save a lot to save them. We do not care, it’s not like they can vote against you and then You pay them millions of dollars and no one knows what they are doing. “Trump said the reporter at the White House.
“All countries took our money and then vote against us in the Security Council,” Trump told members of his Cabinet in a White House meeting.
He was talking about the US separation in the United Nations Security Council, when all 14 members of the highest class were recognized as the capital of Israel against the Trumps.
He was referring to the US separation in the UN Security Council when all 14 members of the apex body, joined hands against Trumps recognition of Jerusalem as capital of Israel.
