Maulappuram: The police are searching for more child sexual predators, which were part of the porn Telegram group run by the accused person Shrafat Ali, who had been arrested on Thursday by the Wandoor police.
The accused Ali had spread the pornographic material of minor girls through social media app Telegram, which was regularly involved in four separate groups managed by them for hundreds of predators.
The Kerala Police’s Cyber-dome is trying to decode the contact details of the members of the ‘Operation P Hunt’ group.
The Accused Ali was the sole administrator of the group, Jaljith Thottoli who help the police to dissolve the online platform for child sexual abusers.
The police have identified the mobile number of some members and to contact the concerned mobile service providers.
The police said that seized Smartphone from the Accused contain full of pornographic content in the form of video and was mostly images of girls under 10 years old.
The police come to know that most of the pornographic content posted on the group was captured silently by the mobile phone cameras with true camera shots and video from the schools, houses, beaches, resorts and water theme parks.
After viewing the material displayed on the forum was configured to self-destruction, incited the police in the front and no digital trail was left to pursue them.
The Police have taken several SIM cards from an Accuser’s house in Wandoor, a Mcom graduate, was doing a course at a private institute in Kozhikode and was living in a hostel.
According to Jiljith, Accused phone number was detected through the shortcomings in the High Security Telegram app; this group included strange sexual interest in children.
The Accused encouraged them to join groups who provided only Malayali child pornography. The accused also threatened to expel the inactive members of the groups.
