Hyderabad: The Golconda police registered a case against T. Raja Singh, Goshamahal MLA, allegedly for promoting hatred and hurting religious sentiments.
A complaint was lodged against BJP MLA in Golconda Police Station after a complaint filed by Irfan Khadri, a resident of Golconda. In his complaint, he alleged that BJP MLA frequently gave hate speech. He cited many speeches made by the BJP MLA Raja Singh on various occasions. Along with the complaint, he also submitted a list of pending cases against the legislator. The Golconda Police registered a case under section 153 A and 295A of the IPC.
The Inspector of Police, Golconda Police Station Mr. Syed Fayaz said, “A case was registered on the basis of a complaint filed by one Irfan Khadri that the BJP MLA in Karnataka had given hate speech, Karnataka Police will investigate the matter.”
