Patna: The Chief Minister Nitish Kumar cavalcade Attack, At least 28 persons including 10 women has been arrested so far in connection with Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s attack in Buxar district two days ago.
The Buxar Superintendent of Police Rakesh Kumar said on Sunday that five FIRs have been registered in connection with this incident against 99 persons and 500 to 700 names are anonymous. The SP said, we have so far arrested 28 persons, 18 men and 10 women in connection with the incident of stone-pelting on the Chief Minister’s car on Friday.
That, during his statewide development Vikas Samiksha Yatra , during a visit to the Nandan village of Dumraon block, the convoy of the Chief Minister was beaten with stones. Although Nitish Kumar remained unharmed, many security personnel were injured and some of the cavalcade vehicles were damaged in stone-pelting. The police officer said, the accused persons in FIR were identified with the help of video footage and photos obtained from various sources while 28 of them have been arrested and efforts are on to catch others.”
