Hyderabad: The Hon’able Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has announced a cash prize of Rupees Two crore to Ms Buddha Aruna Reddy who won a Bronze medal at the recently concluded World Gymnastics Tournament in Melbourne in Australia. The Ms Aruna Reddy has created a history of being the first woman from India who won Bronze at the event. The Ms Aruna Reddy met the CM at Pragati Bhavan here on Sunday. The Chief Minister congratulated and felicitated her. He also announced the cash award. He has instructed that her Coach Brij Kishore should also be given some assistance. The Padma Rao Sports-Minister of Telangana, the Telangana Sports Authority Chairman A.Venkateswar Reddy, Ms Aruna Reddy’s mother Mrs Subhadramma and her sister Ms Pavani were also there at the programme.
