Hyderabad: The council chairman K Swamy Goud suffered injuries on his right eye after a headphone throwing on the speaker’s stage by Congress MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy to protest, while address of the Governor ESL Narasimhan in the joint session of the state assembly on Monday. The Goud, who was hit on his right eye by the headphone was first checked by the duty nurse at the Telangana State Assembly and was later taken to the Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital for a treatment. That after the preliminary examination by the Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital doctors decided to do further tests to determine the nature of the injury suffered by the Swamy Goud and the doctor treat with minor surgery. Mr. Swamy Goud will be kept in the hospital for a day for observation and will be discharged on Tuesday. The headphone which was struck Swamy Goud was allegedly thrown at the Governor along with some papers and files by the Congress members. It missed the Governor but ended up hitting the Council chairman in his right eye.
