Hyderabad: The guideline issued by the National Legal Services Authority, the Telangana State Legal Services Authority has organized bi-monthly National Lok Adalat on 22nd April 2018.
That, under the guidance and leadership of Hon’ble Justice Ramesh Ranganathan the acting Chief Justice of High Court of Judiciary at Hyderabad for the state of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and Patron-in-chief, Telangana State Legal Services Authority Hon’ble Justice V. Ramasubramanian, Executive Chairman, Telangana State Legal Services Authority, Hon’ble Justice P.V. Sanjay Kumar, Chairman. High Court Committee, B.R. Madhusudhan Rao, Member Secretary, Telangana State Legal Services Authority has coordinated with all the District Legal Services Authority in the state have organized the bi-monthly National Lok Adalat.
That, in the National Lok Adalat, 12,842 cases, i.e. 6988 Pre-litigation cases and 5,854 Court Pending cases of all categories have been settled in the districts of Telangana State and an amount of Rs. 56.02 Crores is awarded as compensation in the State of Telangana.
