Bengaluru: A few hours after assuming office as the Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa transferred many IAS and IPS officers in a top-level reshuffle on Thursday.
The Government appointed Laxminarayan, Additional Chief Secretary, Public Works Department, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister. It was also notified that their position would be equal to the Additional Chief Secretary of the Home Department.
According to the government notification, senior IPS officer Amar Kumar Pandey, the additional director general of Railways is working as Railway, ADGP, Intelligence has been made. The Dy. Inspector General of Police, Karnataka State Reserve Police, Sandeep Patil, DIG, will be intelligence.
The Bidar’s Superintendent of Police D Devaraj has been transferred as the Deputy Commissioner of Police in the Bengaluru Central Division. The anti-corruption bureau, SP Superintendent S Girish has been transferred as DCP of the Bangalore North Eastern Division.
