The Honourable Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has instructed the officials concerned to initiate implementation of Milch animal distribution programme in the state through dairy cooperatives for their members. The CM said, that, under the scheme 2.13 Lakh members of dairy cooperatives will be benefited. The CM said, that, each unit will cost Rs 80,000 and in addition Rs 5,000 will be spent towards transport charges. He said, that, SC, STs will be subsidized to a tune of 75% and others to a tune of 50% and also said, that, the members of dairy cooperatives would be permitted to buy the Milch animal from anywhere in India.
