Telangana State Cabinet Meeting Held

The State Cabinet which met on Friday afternoon under the chairmanship of Honourable Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has approved the following subjects.
 To take up census of BC population in the state at once
 Launching of Eye screening (KantiVelugu) from 15th August 2018 all over the state
 In addition to the existing BC residential schools in the state, during the next academic year (2019-2020) at the rate of one per assembly segment 119 BC residential schools are to be established. In these residential schools appointment of 4,284 staff of all categories.
 Recruitment and Appointment of 9,335 village panchayat secretaries. For every village panchayat totalling 12,751 village panchayats there shall be one exclusively for that village.
 Appointment of special officers in place of sarpanches whose term is coming to an end. Special officers even for the newly created municipalities.
 Since in a democratic society political parties are of very important, allotment of land not exceeding one acre at the rate of Rs 100 per yard to all recognised parties, for their party offices. These party offices are to be exempted from property tax.
 In accordance with guidelines of earlier governments, lands allotment to TRS party in 29 districts for constructing party offices in district headquarters.
 As part of Gattu lift irrigation scheme construction or reservoir with 4 TMC capacity.
 In accordance with the decision to have one fire station for every assembly segment, 18 new fire stations to be established.
 Purchase of 11,577 new vehicles by state police department.
 Establishment of Medical college and staff in Suryapet.
 Allotment of 600 square yards in Shaikpet village in Hyderabad district to the family of former Minister Late Madhava Reddy who was killed in mine blast incident.
 Allotment of 200 square yards in Shaikpet village in Hyderabad district to the family of late Feroz Khan who was killed in Indo Pakistan borders.
 To study and examine the possibilities of providing mid-day meals to Junior College students.
