The department of Prohibition and Excise has launched a 100 day direct action initiative. As part of this initiative enforcement activities will be taken up across the State.
As part of planning for this 100 day direct action, feedback was collected from different sources at mandal level across all districts in Telangana. This feedback included the kind of enforcement activities being undertaken and the further steps needed.
Based on the above inputs from within and outside the department, mandal wise and district wise action plans have been prepared. As part of this planning process Senior Officers of the department visited various parts of the State in the last 25 days.
The action plan:
The action plan is not one size fit all but based on requirements in individual areas. Thus the direct action in urban areas like Grater Hyderabad and Cyberabad will be different from that in rural areas.
Launch:
The programme was launched at Sangareddy today (Saturday) by Dr Akun Sabharwal, IPS., Director of Enforcement. He launched the program with the participation of all officers and men of the districts of Siddipet Medak and Sangareddy.

Urban areas Public consumption, A4 and 2B violations.
Rural areas ID Control, Check Toddy adulteration, MRP and other violations.

4. MRP violations
5. Public Consumption
Each of the 25 day 4 periods, rewards will be distributed at division level for 5 best performers in each division in that period.
