The Honourable Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has announced that for the purposes of domestic usage of electricity upto 101 units of power for SCs and STs in the state will be supplied free of cost.
The CM said that, in view of the increased usage of electrical appliances the power consumption has been increased and hence the present facility of 50 Units free power to SCs and STs is enhanced to 101 units. The CM said that, in view of the power increased availability of power in Telangana state its benefits should also reach the downtrodden. Hence, said the CM, that the Government has decided to provide free power up to 101 units to SCs and STs. The power charges that would be incurred towards this will be borne by the government and will be paid to the DISCOMS.

The Honourable Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has announced that the Imams and Mouzams who perform prayers in the Masjids will be paid Rs 5000 monthly remuneration. He said, that, this will be paid with effect from September 1, 2018. For the first time anywhere in the country in Telangana state the Imams and Mouzams were initially paid Rs 1000 monthly remuneration which was increased to Rs 1500 later. The CM announced that this is now increased to Rs 5000 per month with effect from September 1, 2018. Nearly 9000 Imams and Mouzams performing prayers in the masjids will be benefitted with this decision said the CM.

The Honourable Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has announced that the Archakas performing the priestly Pooja activities in Hindu Temples which come under the purview of the state endowment department will be paid salaries directly, on par with the government employees henceforth. The CM said, that, these will be paid from the state government treasury with effect from September 1, 2018. As and when the pay revision is implemented to government employees the same will be made applicable to the Archakas also said the CM. The CM has also announced that the retirement age of Archakas will be 65 years instead of the present retirement age of 58 years. The CM has instructed the officials concerned that the necessary orders with regard salary payment and enhancement of retirement age should be issued on Monday after preparing the necessary guidelines.

The Honourable Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has announced that the salaries of employees working in the 29 MiniGurukulams have been increased. The CM said, that, the salaries of HM/Warden is increased from Rs 5,000 to Rs 21,000, for CRTs from Rs 4000 to 15,000 for PETs from Rs 4,000 to 11,000, for Accountants from Rs 3,500 to Rs 10,000, for ANMs from Rs 4,000 to 9,000, for Cooks Rs 2,500 to Rs 7,500, for Ayahs from Rs 2,500 to Rs 7,500, for helpers from Rs 2,500 to Rs 7,500, from Sweeper from 2,500 to Rs 7,500 and for watchman from 2,500 to 7,500. The CM has signed on the concerned file issuing these orders.

The Honourable Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has appointed DevaraMallappa as Chairman Telangana State Trade Promotion Corporation, GhattuThimmappa as Chairman Telangana State Co-operative Consumers Federation, Badmi Shiv Kumar as Chairman Sangeeta Nataka Academy. The CM has signed on the file pertaining to the appointments on Friday.
