The State Level Coordination Committee Meeting on Crop Insurance was convened under the chairman ship of APC & Prl. Secy To the Govt. and attended by Rahul Bojja, Commissioner of Agriculture, to discuss and finalise the modalities for implementation of PMFBY for 2020-21. The meeting was attended the Director, DES and TSDPS, officials from Horticulture and Sugarcane Departments, RBI, SLBC, TSDPS, AIC and representatives from the other empanelled Insurance Companies.
• Decided to issue Notification for One year (kharif and Rabi 2020-21)
• To Notify two crops under Village as insurance unit wherever areas are available.
• Notification of Tomato crop under RWBCIS on in Siddipet, Sangareddy, Medak, Medchal and Vikarabad apart from Adilabad and Vikarabad districts.

• To adopt the Scale of Finance, fixed by the TSCAB.
• To notify Prevented sowing and Post harvest losses and damage due to wild animals.
• To revise the Term Sheets under RWBCIS by constituting a Committee including the Director of Research of Agriculture and Horticulture Universities, AIC and Insurance Companies.
• To implement pilot projects on conduct of Crop cutting experiments.
• Bankers were directed to complete the Reconciliation and uploading of the farmer’s data Kharif and Rabi 2019-20.
