The Income Tax Department raided in the Karnataka Energy Minister DK Shiva Kumar’s residence in Kanakapura, Bangalore on today’s morning. As well as, they searched in Eagleton Golf Resort where Congress Gujarat Legislator’s (MLA’s) are staying. The raids are started at 07:00am, on that time the Gujarat’s 44 MLA’s and the law makers are staying in the resort.
Shivakumar is in-charge of looking after 44 MLA’s landed from Gujarat who has been lodged at the resort after they came from Ahmedabad last Saturday. They were moved, reportedly to stop the BJP from stealing them ahead of the Rajya Sabha Polls scheduled on 8th August. The resort is located at the Bengaluru Rural Lok Sabha constituency signified by Congress lawmaker DK Suresh, who is the younger brother of DK Shiva Kumar.
