Hyderabad: In a appalling incident, a 40-year-old man committed suicide by hanging and recorded a video of the suicide. The deceased has been identified as Mahendra Singh Pal @ Bunty, the Lease Holder of the Hi-King Restaurant and bar in LB Nagar, Telangana.
The deceased taken a selfie video and stated the names of the persons Rambabu, Ashok, Naveen, Sagar, Raju, and swamy, who are responsible of his death. The police said that he took the extreme step as he was depressed after being harassed by money lenders.
The deceased in his last video message stated that, even though he was paying off his dues regularly, the money lenders were humiliating him and abusing him repeatedly in front of his staff and customers and he named six persons and claimed that they are responsible for his suicide. He also claimed that the said persons also owed him money which they were not returning.
A day before the suicide the deceased Bunty was beaten up by the accused after he demanded his money back from them. Sources said that the accused persons are believed to be henchmen working for a TRS political leader of the area.
The police registered a case and are investigating the matter, Police has registered a case under section 306 (Abetement of suicide) of the Indian Penal Code, The police are also looking into any possible business or financial dispute behind the suicide. The police say there is no political pressure and we are firm to act on all possible manners in this case as a person has died, Police said.
According to the deceased son, the deceased took bar for lease for three year from Ram Mohan Goud who is TRS in charge of LB Nagar Division, yesterday Night he came to bar and asked for my dad he was not available so Ram Goud spoke with my dad over the phone and had a heated argument after that, what happen I don’t know.
