Recently the latest news heard that, The Koliwood actor and best performer Dhanush has bought the remake rights of the Hindi movie “Barfi”. Originally the film leaded by stars Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra. As per the internal reports, Dhanush will likely to remake the film in Tamil as Duel role. But we will wait for an official announcement. Presently, Dhanush is waiting for his upcoming movie named as “VIP 2”. He will as soon as possible begin the shooting for ‘Maari 2’ and ‘Vada Chennai’.
The Film Barfi is a 2012 released Indian comedy and drama film written and directed by Anurag Basu. The main roles are played by Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Ileana D’Cruz. And the supporting roles are played by Saurabh Shukla, Ashish Vidyarthi, Jisshu Sengupta and Roopa Ganguly. The films budget is approximately Rs. 30 crores. The movie released worldwide on 14th September 2012 and get big success in box office, becoming one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films of 2012 in India and Overseas. The film collected the gross Rs.1.75 billion in worldwide. The film was selected as India’s official entry for the Best Foreign Language Film nomination for the 85th Academy Awards and also the movie Barfi won many awards and nominations at different award functions across the India. At the 58th Film-fare Awards, the film received 13 nominations including Best Actress for Priyanka Chopra and won 7 including Best Film, Best Actor for Ranbir Kapoor and Best Music Director for Pritam.
