Hyderabad: A man who claimed to be a believer hunter was arrested for humiliating a woman on the pretext of helping her to give birth to a baby boy. The woman’s in-laws who took her to the black magician were also arrested. The police filed a case against the black magician Sheik Abdul Rahim (black magician), a 68-year-old fake believer hunter of Moglapura, against the Drugs and Black Magic Remedies Act, Section 420 (cheating) on the woman with the intention of insulting her humility.
Man Mohammed Mansoor alias Saif, works in a private company of Abu Dhabi had married a woman in August 2016. “From the time of marriage, the in-laws had put pressure on the woman to give birth to a Baby boy.” DCP (South Zone) V. Satyanarayan said,
“When the victim came to India during pregnancy was taken to the black magician who had touched the stomach and private part by taking excuses of worship.”
The woman went to Dubai again and complained about this incident in India with her husband. However, it did not have any success, and when he returned to India between February and April, her in-laws again took faith into the ointment. However, in May the woman gave birth to a girl, after which she grew harassment and she was not allowed to enter the house. Later, the woman’s husband sent her a divorce notice and she was divorced because she gave birth to a girl, the police said.
The South Zone Dy. Commissioner of Police V. Satyanarayana said that the faith hunter encouraged the woman to go through special rituals on the false debate of helping to give birth to a baby boy.
