Hyderabad: In a shocking incident women jumped off a moving train to avoid three encounters, a young technical expert got hurt seriously. Shaik Nazbulla 21-year-old a native of Vijayawada was traveling on the Hazrat Nizamuddin expressway, in which three offenders made objectionable remarks and tried to tamper with her. This incident occurred on Thursday when the software engineer was on Vijayawada route with two of his friends, The Police caught the three accused persons and filed a case against them.
The woman alleged that she had been forced to jump from the train before the Singairakonda railway station, because none of the fellow passengers came to the rescue and the accused crossed all their limits to harass her. Vijayawada railway police arrested the three accused and filed a case against them.
The Co-passengers raised alarm and stopped the train, Railway Police was immediately alerted about the incident and the girl was taken to the hospital.
After the complaint was lodged, the railway police started a search for the culprits. The Vijayawada unit of railway police was informed and the details of the coaches and the suspect’s information were passed. As soon as the train reached Vijayawada, the accused Persons Kurban of Bihar, Harikesh Yadav and Sudhakar from Shamli district of Uttar Pradesh was detained by the police. The pictures of the accused were shared on whatsapp and the victim identified the accused.
The Superintendent of Railway Police in Guntakal, Subba Rao said, “The use of technology has helped us to identify the accused immediately and the criminals were arrested. A case has been registered under sections 341, 509, 506 and 29 of Indian Penal Code.
According to doctors, the victim is out of danger and treatment is going on in a hospital in Ongole, the Railway Police has appealed to travelers, especially women, that they raise a voice and report crime on trains so that timely action can be processed.
