Lucknow: The Metro rail at Lucknow which was inaugurated yesterday by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Home Minister Rajnath Singh, the Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS), took such a long time to give the No-Objection Certificate (NOC) in spite of that, the metro failed on the first day, Hundreds of passengers were stuck in the Lucknow metro rail today as the new train which was started in the city, which the first stage of the new metro rail runs for 8.5 kms in the city.
Many passengers, including children of school, were banned for more than an hour without the lights in the metro and without air conditioning. An official said that the problem was a technical related to a “traction pump” but did not expand, the Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation (LMRC) arrived to remove the passengers through an emergency exit after the train slowed down between the stations of Mawaiyya and Durgapuri, Former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav criticize the failure on twitter, posting, “The Lucknow Metro had been built and was ready for a while now, the metro rail safety commissioner and union government took such a long time to give the No-Objection Certificate (NOC),despite that, the metro failed on the first day!”.
