The Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) has established Karnataka Premier League as an Indian Twenty20 cricket league in August 2009, the domestic cricket competition is modelled along the lines of the popular Indian Premier League (IPL). Present, the KPL has failed to attract a lot of viewership because star players KL Rahul and Manish Pandey on international duty,this is also one of the main reason for failed to attract.
