In a bizarre incident in Bikaner district of Rajasthan, A 28-year-old Delhi women was allegedly gang-raped by 23 persons. The victim in her complaint told that she was going to check on a plot she owns in Ridmalsar Purohitan on September 25. When she was waiting for transportation to go back, she was abducted from the road on the outskirts of Bikaner in the Midday. The woman said that at around 2:30 PM in the Khatu Shyam temple on Jaipur road, two persons, Raju and Subhashans were abducted her.
According to the reports, she said that she was taken to the Palana village by the accused persons and later raped her. She further claimed that after two persons raped her, they called more people to join them.
In the complaint filed, she is the resident of New Friends Colony of Delhi has alleged that she was taken to a government power sub-station in the Palana village, where more persons allegedly attacked her.
After lodging an FIR, the victim stated that she was left in the same place where she was picked at about 4 AM on 26th September. Commenting on the matter, a Rajasthan Police official said that the police have registered a case against 2 known and 21 unknown suspects in the case.
The Circle Officer Sadar, Rajendra Singh, said that woman in her complaint, had identified and we had recovered condom from that spot. He further said that the victim has filed a statement in front of a magistrate under section 164 of the CrPC and repeated what she wrote in the FIR.
The Officials said that the victim’s medical examination has been completed and waiting for a medical report. He also said that 5 people have been detained in this case, but no arrest has been made so far.
