Hyderabad: The Awareness Programme and interactive meeting on Reforms under “Ease of Doing Business” was organized by TS Pollution Control Board, Head Office, Sanathanagar under the chairmanship of Dr. Rajat Kumar, Principal. Secretary, Environment Forest Science and Technology Department, Govt, of Telangana on 09.10.2017. The meeting was attended by the various industry representatives from Hyderabad, Rangareddy and Medak District.
Speaking on this occasion, the Prl. Secy emphasised the industries to make optimum utilization of On-line system implemented by the Government and the Board for getting various clearances and permissions. During the meeting, various industry representatives have expressed their appreciation on the reforms taken-up by the Govt and informed that most of the services provided On-line are being processed within the stipulated Timelines.

• TELANGANA STATE WAS PLACED AT 1ST RANK IN THE COUNTRY IN REFORMS IMPLEMENTATION UNDER EODB, 2016
TIMELINES FOR PROCESSING:
(CFE & 1st time CFO & HWA):
• Red Category – 21 Days
• Orange Category – 14 Days
• Green Category – 7 Days
(CFO & HWA Renewal):
• Red Category – 30 Days
• Orange Category – 21 Days
• Green Category – 7 Days
AUTO RENEWAL
• The Board introduced system of Auto Renewal of Consent for Establishment (CFE) and Consent for Operation (CFO) for all categories of industries based on self certification vide Circulars dated 19.11.2015.
No Fresh Application Required and is processed without field inspection
Auto-Renewal Based on Self-Certification of compliance under Conditions/Directions issued by the Board
Approval within 5 Working Days otherwise its a deemed Consent.
Validity 5 Years
Total no. Of application process during last one year are 248.
Computerized Inspection Allocation:
The establishments that need to be inspected will be identified based on computerized risk assessment.
There will be a computerized allocation of inspectors to carry out inspections.
The system ensures that no inspector will inspect the same establishment twice consecutively.
The inspectors shall upload online inspection report within 24 hours.
After uploading of the inspection report, SMS / email message with inspection reference numbers will be sent to the industry.
The industry can download the inspection report online and corrective measures, if any, can be initiated.
THIRD PARTY INSPECTIONS OF MEDIUM RISK (ORANGE) INDUSTRIES
The Board has empanelled IIT, Hyderabad and EPTRI for 3rd party inspections.
Industries for inspection are allocated through the Randomised Computer Allocation.
Inspection report shall be uploaded online within 48 hours.
Number of Orange Category industries inspected during the last one year: 96
ONLINE APPLICATIONS PROCESSED

Number of CFE Applications processed during last one year: 226

The P. Satyanarayana Reddy, Member Secretary, TSPCB advised all the industries to avail Auto Renewal facility provided by the Board as the industries would get permission within 5 working days.
