Kannur: The local police seized deadly weapons from Kannur’s Panoor area. The police team recovered arms from a deserted ground behind the BJP office.
Kannur SP told that they have recovered two swords, 4 iron rods and one knife.
The search process was done on the basis of information provided by the municipal cleaning workers who were cleaning the bushes. He said that the investigation is going on to track the owners of these weapons.
Responding to the serious allegations, BJP District President Satyaprakash said that BJP has no role behind this incident.
The Weapons were seized from a land behind their office. In the morning, they have seen a certain group of municipal workers shown as cleaning area. They may have plotted to blame the BJP; he said that CPIM has accused the BJP of trying to provoke violence in the state. On October 3, BJP President Amit Shah flagged Janaraksha Yathra in Kannur. On the 17th day of this month, Trivandrum will finally be traveling through 11 districts before the closing ends.
