The Indian team Cricket Skipper Virat Kohli met the former WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) wrestler, The Great Khali. The team India defeated Srilanka in 2nd Test Match after winning a series by innings 53 runs in Colombo. After the press conference and team India celebrated, also Kohli met with former WWE Indian Superstar ‘The Great Khali’. After that Kohli was tweeted as, “It was great to meet The Great Khali, what a guy! ”. He was immediately shared the photos with the Punjab wrestler.
Dalip Singh Rana (44),better known as ‘The Great Khali’ is an Indian American, born in Dhiraina village of Himachal Pradesh’s Sirmour district and semi-retired professional wrestler in WWE. He has known for his great height, and he was expressed as the 8th tallest professional wrestler in history in 2014. He was the 4th tallest wrestler in WWE history in 2017. The Great Khali started his career in WWE along with Daivari and had alliances with Ranjin Singh and Jinder Mahal. Still, Khali spent most of his career as a singles wrestler. He became WWE’s World Heavyweight Champion in 2007. Before entered in his professional wrestling career, he was an officer from the Punjab state Police in 1993. He was landed in Punjab’s Jalandhar, then he was trained in the local gyms to become a wrestler and soon he got selected for specialized wrestling training in the United States. On 2nd January 2006, Khali became the 1st Indian professional wrestler to be signed to a contract by WWE. He has acted in four Hollywood films and two Bollywood films, and also participated in many TV shows. Khali became a naturalized the U.S. citizen on 20th February 2014.
