Ganjam District: A 22-year-old Dalit woman was allegedly raped by a Person while her five colleagues filmed a crime in their mobile phone in Ganjam district of Odisha, police said on Tuesday.
The Police have arrested all six persons and registered a case under various sections of Indian Penal Code and Schedule Caste / Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. They were also registered under the Information Technology Act.
The incident took place on 16th October, the alleged gang rape of a tribal girl in Koraput district came in the grip of rape. It was an incident that the final year student went to a temple with his fiancée in Berhmpur.
The victim, who belongs to Balisira near Asaka, is a student of a college in Bhajanagra and lives with her relatives and in January of next year she has to marry him fiancée, Police said
The medical examination of the victim occurred at the MKCG Medical College and Hospital and the medical test of the accused will be held soon, further investigating is going-on, police said.
