Hyderabad: The Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao released a coffee table book in Pragati Bhawan on Saturday, “The famous Hyderabad writer” Ms Noopur Kumar wrote ” Journey of the Hyderabad city police ” Since the establishment of the city police network, beautiful oil painting, The pictures were compiled in the book. In the book, it was told about the journey made by the city police, bicycles to CC TV cameras was explained in a rigid style about patrols ranging from Cycle to cyber time and changes during this period.

The speciality of Hyderabad in the Law and Order front, Police set up in the olden times, the Kotwal system during the Qutub Shahi’s regime, the Police network during the Nizam’s rule, the great Ganga Jamuna Tehjeeb of Hyderabad where Hindu and Muslims lived in harmony, great personalities in the police, the duties and responsibilities of the City police, changes that were brought in the traffic management, new challenges in the new millennium, details of those worked as the City Police Commissioners, and a host of other subjects were dealt with in the book.

The Chief Minister congratulated Ms. Noopur Kumar for bringing a beautiful book. Additional DGG Anjani Kumar supervised the production of the book. DGP Anurag Sharma, CP, M Mahendra Reddy and Chief Adviser of the Government Rajiv Sharma took part in the program.

Farewell to Anurag Sharma on Tuesday; The CM has decided to hold a farewell meeting to DGP Anurag Sharma, the first DGP of the Telangana State on Tuesday at Pragati Bhavan. Anurag Sharma is retiring on Sunday.
