Mr. Mohammed Masiullah Khan, Chairman Telangana State Haj Committee and Mr. B. Shafiullah IFS, Executive Officer Telangana State Haj Committee informed in joint statement today that, as per the Circular issued from Haj Committee of India on 5th June-2020 it was informed that as only few weeks are left for the preparatory in India, for Haj-2020, yet Saudi authorities have not communicated any further development regarding Haj-2020, till date, due to Covid-19 virus. In view of the several enquiries received and concern were expressed over uncertainty over Haj-2020. It has been decided by the Haj Committee of India that, those intending Haj Pilgrims who desires to cancel their Haj Journey, this year i.e. Haj-2020, their 100% amount paid so far will be refunded without any deductions to their bank accounts directly through online from Haj Committee of India, Mumbai. Mr. Md.Masiullah Khan, Chairman TS Haj Committeealso said that the intending Haj Pilgrims who desires to cancel their Haj Journey this year i.e. Haj-2020 are requested to fill up the cancellation form available on the website www.hajcommittee.gov.in and email to hajcommittee@nic.in along with copy of Bank Pass Book or Cancelled Cheque to the above email address.
Mr. Irfan Shareef, Asst. Executive Officer, Telangana State Haj Committee said that, those intending Haj Pilgrims who expired after provisional selection in the draw of lots (Qurrah), their nominees can submit their bank details along with the letter and copy of Death Certificate etc. to Haj Committee of India, Mumbai on the above email. He also said that, those intending Haj Pilgrims who wants to wait till any further announcement from Saudi Authorities and Haj Committee of India, Mumbai about Haj-2020, can wait further and decide later on, accordingly.
